Nick Hall started Pulse Evangelism when he was a student at North Dakota State University. Ever since, he has wanted to go back to North Dakota to share the Gospel throughout his home state.

In 2023, this dream was put into action and the movement to cover North Dakota in prayer and create a touchpoint of the Gospel for every person in the state began.

One of the first major events for this campaign happened on May 2—the Pulse North Dakota Prayer Launch. The host church for this prayer event was at Bethel in Fargo with simulcast locations in various regions throughout the state. People across North Dakota united in worship led by the Christian band Shane & Shane and an inspiring biblical challenge was shared by Nick Hall.
