Pulse Evangelism recently welcomed Jeff Brown as a new Senior Director of Donor Ministries. Read an introduction from Jeff below and join us in welcoming him to the Pulse family!
Friends in Christ,
My name is Jeff Brown and I am excited to join the Pulse Evangelism team as a Senior Director of Donor Ministries!
My wife, Brea, and I are midwesterners, spending the majority of our years in Missouri and the last two in Oklahoma. Brea and I met in college and have been married for 28 years. Our two older daughters Danielle (Stephen) and Linnea live in Springfield, Missouri and attend college at Drury University and MoState respectively. Our youngest, Colin, is going to be a senior in high school next year.
I was blessed to be raised in a Christian home by a very godly mother who was widowed at a young age, along with six older siblings. I gave my life to Christ as an eight year old under conviction of my own sin and at 17, I received the call to full-time ministry. All I knew was that I wanted to preach the Gospel and bring people closer to Christ! In order to achieve that goal, I was led to go to college and receive a formal education. Inspired by great professors, I went on to earn an MDiv in Evangelism and a PhD in Preaching and Evangelism from Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
I am very excited to come to Pulse Evangelism with decades of pastoral, mission planning, higher education, and donor ministries experience. Pulse is a great opportunity to combine my passion for evangelism, healthy churches, training tomorrow’s leaders, and cultivating generosity among believers! I can imagine no greater cause than winning people to Jesus.
I am so looking forward to meeting everyone and making Jesus known together!
