Not that long ago, there were many who carried the title “evangelist.” Today the term has largely gone missing in action.
Without the evangelist, those far from God are easily seen as enemies or opponents, rather than image bearers of God who have yet to experience the life changing message of Jesus. The evangelist sees every corner of humanity as an opportunity to turn modern-day Saul’s to Paul’s.
Throughout Scripture and history, we see the evangelist having two unique roles in the body of Christ: First, the evangelist exists to tell people the Good News of Jesus. Second, the evangelist exists to encourage and equip every believer to do the same, living on mission to seek and save those who currently do not know Jesus.
That’s the work of the evangelist.
A message from Nick Hall
Hey guys, my name is Nick, and I’m an evangelist. More importantly, I’m a husband, dad, friend, and child of God. I’m the President and Founder of Pulse Evangelism.
A year long program for young evangelists to receive hands-on training from Nick and other seasoned leaders, so that they can fully step into their calling to reach their generation for Jesus.
Nick Hall started a grassroots movement as a college student and has spent the last 20 years traveling the world to meet people, like you, where they are, tell them that they matter, and share Jesus with them. As a student at North Dakota State University, God interceded in Nick’s life when he was compelled to write a paper titled “Pulse” for his English class, with content hoping to combat the depression, substance abuse, and suicide that was impacting his friends and their campus. That paper unleashed one of the largest student-led efforts in American history, launching his nonprofit, Pulse Evangelism.
Since its founding Pulse Evangelism has reached over 300 million people with the Gospel through live events, digital ministry, local revival gatherings, and evangelism training.
Our Make Jesus Known Training is a 4-week series on evangelism that will push students and young adults out of their comfort zones and challenge them to make evangelism a lifestyle.
The Table Coalition, formerly known as Mission America Coalition, exists to catalyze partnership within the American Church so that more people know Jesus.
Read more about Nick and the message he’s shared with millions in his book, Reset: Jesus Changes Everything. This book is an invitation to the fresh start Jesus offers us all. Reset is the message that inspired the Together Generation, leading to some of the largest Jesus gatherings in American history.
We believe the Gospel is the best news in the world. More than an inspirational pep talk, the message of Jesus is the foundation for hope and reconciliation in our world today. This is why Pulse Evangelism believes in investing in the next generation now, to multiply our impact and equip the next generation to make disciples.
